Father's Day in Japan

Last sunday, the third Sunday of June was Father's Day. It's a good occasion to thank my children's dad(my husband).

What we did on Father's day this year.

I talked about father's day to my girl. she goes to nursery school. We had a dinner at asushi-restraunt and gave a present. It was a bag that he wanted to.

Few decades ago.

When I was a kindergarden pupil, decades ago,  I remember I made a card and a paper tie in class. We gave our fathers at fathers' visiting day. It's a lovely memory for me.

Today at public school

Today, talking about parents' jender - including father's or mother's day, in classes at public schools is regarded as kind of taboo. Proportion of families headed by a single parent, especially single-female-parent household is increaseing in Japan.Teachers are becoming sensitive to fatherless children's feelings because many divorced fathers don't see their children so much.

Father's Day , Mother's Day

Father's day look so pathetic compared to Mother's day. Many children are hardly concerened with Father's day. There are children not to treat dad or send nothing.

My family

I'll treasure to celebarate father's day with my family every year.  It's a wonderful opportunity that children thank their dad -  a family oriented father.
