I'm a Japanese female, living in Tokyo.

I'm on maternity leave right now, going back to office from April.

When I told about my pregnancy to my American friend who lives in Tokyo for years, he told me , "wow! how brave you are! "

He can't believe we'll try to raise two children in Tokyo without our parents support.

It's not easy to raise children in Tokyo now.

In Japan, a lot of children are on the waiting list for nursing school. Fortunately, our girl goes to a wonderful nursing school right now. I hope our baby boy will enter the same nursing school from April.

Low birth rate is a social problem in Japan. Though,

We don't have enough nursing schools, maternity hospitals, educational expenses...

I guess there are not so many blogs about Japan by females having children, written in English.

I'm going to write my everyday lives and about Japan.
